    Allied Media Conference:
    The Allied Media Conference brings together some of the most innovative and visionary culture producers, media workers, artists and activists to probe critical questions in their work. Allied Media Conference participants share skills and ideas and build new networks for action and support with the goal of utilizing their collective ingenuity and vision to build new forms of popular power for the 21st century.

    Black Eye Photography:
    From events to photoshoots, photography from the front line. Whether down-in-the-trenches or wallowing in the (mosh)pits -- a cornucopia of images -- from pictures of normal people doing normal things to horse shows, plays, portraits, stock photos, and corporate projects.

    Coop del Sur:
    specializes in high quality software development and information services and is based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Coop del Sur is building a fair trade network of information services and technology with companies, cooperatives, NGO's, and individuals in the global north. The cooperative is based on the principles of fair trade and is rooted in the belief that workers should own and run their workplaces in to maintain a humane work environment. Coop del Sur is committed to using, supporting, and contributing to the Free and Open Source community.

    The CUWiN Foundation:
    Open Source Wireless Research & Development, CUWiN's three-part mission is to: connect more people to Internet and broadband services; develop open-source hardware and software for use by wireless projects world-wide; and, build & support community not-for-profit broadband networks worldwide.

    Chambana.net Project:
    Low-Cost Community Webhosting, Internet Communications, and IT services. Chambana.net is founded on three basic notions. First, Acorn would like to make available low-cost but wide-ranging web hosting services to the non-profit and independent business community. Second, most web hosting agreements are bundled with services that go largely under- or un-utilized but that inflate the cost of the service. And, thirdly, Acorn is able to offer such low-cost service by allowing clients to self-administrate their sites and services, without worrying about basic server and Internet connection maintenance and administration.

    CommunityInternet.us:
    a resource trove for people who want to learn more about community internet technologies, who are interested in setting up their own networks, who want to understand their options, and who want information from a source that isn't trying to sell you anything.

    Free Ambazonia:
    Initiative to end the scourge of occupation of the Ambazonia territory and to serve as a catalyst that will spur our people in the struggle to restore their sovereignty and independence. Developing and encouraging new ways of emancipating themselves through principles of democracy, transparency, and grass roots’ participation in decision-making processes -- thus getting rid of the static hierarchies that have served the few who, through treachery, have managed to maneuver themselves to the top of these hierarchies.

    New York City Summer:
    Six Weeks of Democracy in Action, a nonpartisan initiative for youth activists from NYC and around the country affiliated with community organizations with the goal of strengthening the coalition of those working for social and economic justice.

    Radio Free Urbana:
    WRFU, Radio Free Urbana is a community radio station in Urbana, Illinois broadcasting at 100 watts at 104.5 FM. WRFU went on-air in the winter of 2005 and is dedicated to providing a new voice for the people in our community.

    Analysis and critique on the state of telecommunications (de)regulation, community Internet technologies, municipal wireless, and the political-economics of communications policy-setting.

    StrictMachine.ca:
    providing weblog ("blogging"), Content Management Systems, virtual community, online collaboration services, and virtual bridges for medical centers, community groups, researchers, academic institutions, non-profit organizations, individuals, companies and government agencies to develop collaborative web-based communities.

    Urbana-Champaign IMC:
    community web-portal and open publishing system. The Urbana-Champaign IMC is a grassroots organization committed to using media production and distribution as tools for promoting social and economic justice. The Urbana-Champaign IMC is dedicated to addressing issues that the mainstream media neglects and does not conceal politics behind a false objectivity. The Urbana-Champaign IMC empowers people to "become the media" by providing democratic access to available technologies and information.

    a blog, an alternative news service, a nexus for all things Pagan -- WildHunt.org provides information on everything from the DJ scene and radio programming to a progressive analysis of religious issues.
